In my travels to facilitate for
Darkness to Light’s Stewards of Children (SOC) Child Sexual Abuse Prevention program and to promote my books,
I am often humbled by the kindness of others. The
PREVENTION of child sexual abuse (and child abuses of all kinds) has become my mission. Through my works and the profound message delivered by SOC, the incidents of child sexual abuse can and are being impacted.
I have only recently begun to solicit donations toward this cause and am so encouraged by the response. I have received the support of several individuals and oganizations. These donations make it possible for me to provide training on a moments notice. This is very important if there is a crisis situation, or a group that needs immediate training. Generally, it takes a minimum of three weeks to receive the curriculum. Because of the generosity of donors I am able to order it in advance of need and thus able to say, “Yes, I can do an SOC training this weekend!” when someone solicits my services. Upon receipt of payment for future SOC trainings I will be able to reorder the curriculum used and, thereby, be in a position to continue presenting without delay.
I believe whenever an individual reaches out to help another s/he acts as an earth angel.
